etherial1Hypnotherapy is a gentle, safe, natural way to make changes to your life that you wish to. It feels like a state of deep, deep relaxation, just like that dreamy state between sleeping and waking. In this state you are more open to suggestions and it is in this state that I can address your sub-conscious mind to help you make those changes.

It is a natural, yet different state of consciousness, which most of us achieve at some level every day while reading a book or watching an absorbing film. Have you ever found yourself staring at the TV screen and not really being aware of what is going on, watching yet not watching? Sometimes you can even drive somewhere and not really be aware of how you got there! This is your subconscious mind taking over and doing the driving for you, because it knows how, freeing your conscious mind to think about that meeting or what's for dinner! It is this powerful, creative subconscious mind of yours that is accessed via hypnotherapy to help you make the changes you want.

Hypnosis can bypass the ‘critical conscious mind’ and access those long-held beliefs which tell us things like “I’m no good at this…”, “I’m really clumsy!”, and “I’d love to give up but I can’t…” and change them, so that you can feel better about yourself and make some real changes to your life whether it is becoming a non-smoker or having enough courage to get up in front of people to give a presentation, hypnotherapy can help!

The fact is 90% of what your brain takes in, is rooted within your subconscious. The subconscious mind runs our bodies. It is in charge of everything automatically. It looks after memories so we don’t have to keep relearning; it holds onto habits (good and bad) and controls our emotions, fears and phobias.
